I'd go with NordVPN.
I like their features at good prices. (Secure Encryption, DoubleVPN, Obfuscated Servers, Split Tunneling)

ProtonVPN has pretty good legal standings. I never use a “free edition” of any service. They have to make their money somewhere

I use NordVPN myself it was the first VPN I tried that was actually good and had decent prices. I've seen a few others, but I've never gone down the rabbit hole and tried them personally.
