getting "human verification" every time I visit

Question / Bug Report: I am curious is absolutely everyone getting the human verification every time they visit the site. I'm signed in to my home wifi and every time I come here to check in, I am greeted with an image CAPTCHA. I am curious if anyone else has this same issue or is this expected behavior?

Captcha involvement is now part of our security; however, we'll continue to monitor and adapt our web traffic control.
We've included this to stop front-end DDoS attacks and other malicious traffic requests.
