Gif Avatars?

I am new to XenForo and was wondering what the process of allowing GIFs as avatars was. I've looked at the official XenForo website and found a post about it, but when setting it up, the image is still static. Any ideas? Thanks

FirstToLeave, Using GIF avatars in XenForo depends on your hosting setup.
First, you'll need to go into XenForo AdminCP and look under Setup > Options > Attachments
https://yoursite.com/admin.php?options/groups/attachments/

At the very bottom, make sure to enable Imagemagick PECL extension.
Most times you will default to the PHP built-in GD image library. Shared hosts do not always have this option enabled. However, you should be able to reach out to support.



Now you can use GIF avatars in your website!
