Why does mojang even doing a mob vote this year in the first place???

Mob votes from the start have always split the community apart and whenever one mob gets chosen, everyone screams at each other and is so unhappy their mob is not chosen. We, minecraft players, who can make amazing builds and redstone computers still each other for choosing the wrong mob. The only people who win here is the mob that is chosen. The 2017 mob vote was basically a disaster because everyone despises the phantom, even the people who chose to vote for it. The next mob vote after that, tons of people were not happy when the glow squid won. Every time someone’s favorite mob doesn’t win, it splits the community apart. I get that the first mob vote was to bring hype back to the game since mc was dying but why are we still doing it now??

tl;dr Mob votes shouldn’t be done anymore because they split the community apart.
