User visibility follows group membership(s) plus hiding global member list

Hi,

I would like to know if XenForo supports restricting user visibility based on group membership.

Specifically:

Can I configure it so that users only see other members who belong to the same group?

If not, is there at least an option to disable or hide the global members list (and “Who’s Online”) for certain user groups, so users cannot see all registered members?


This is important for small, separate communities (e.g. tenants, family, travel groups) that should not be aware...
