Upgrading a -TESTINSTALL 4.7.24 site to 5.x for testing

Hi everyone,

I am currently running version 4.7.24 on a development site using the -TESTINSTALL flag. I would like to test drive 5.x before committing to a license upgrade, but the main portal won't allow me to download 5.x under my current license type.

I noticed there is a 5.x package available for download here on the community site. Can I use this specific download to update my current 4.7.24 development environment and or will there be any adverse effects doing this?

You can, just make sure to backup everything before.

Is there anything special I need to do after it is upgraded to apply the -TESTINSTALL as with 4.7 it requires my license key?
