Too late to get into Minecraft?

Hey guys! I never really found the hype in Minecraft. It looks so old school 8 bit pixel-y and so I never got into it. But, lately I’ve found myself wanting to get into it. I guess seeing my twin brother play it so much has gotten to me. Anyway, I’m curious if it’s too late to start Minecraft now because of how long it’s been out.
