My friends and I started an SMP just about a month ago, and in that short time, it’s grown into something I didn’t fully expect: a community of players who really care about building up the world together. It’s been awesome to watch.
The way the server works is pretty simple: we use a server-side mod that changes the terrain generation so the world forms into seven continents. Each season, we focus our builds on one continent, but everyone is still free to wander and explore the others. The goal is to create a world that feels alive, full of stories that each of us gets to add to in our own way.
We’ve got some quality-of-life mods running, plus our own custom mod in the works that will add new items in future seasons. That part’s exciting because it means the server will continue to evolve right alongside us.
If you’re someone who enjoys world-building, storytelling, or just being part of a tight-knit community, I’d honestly love for you to come check out what we’re doing with Salvaris. It’s been such a fun journey so far, and it’d be even better with more people helping shape the world!
