Hey folks,
I’m just here to extend an invitation to anyone looking for a small, tight-knit, long-term community.
The Blockyard is a Java Edition SMP that’s been running for a little over a month now. It’s a survival multiplayer world with a Hermitcraft-like spirit: collaborative projects, personal bases, community builds, shopping districts, and the kind of inside jokes that only happen when people actually stick around and get to know each other.
Most of us are in our late 20s and older, and we’re hoping to welcome a few more like-minded players. People who aren’t hopping from server to server, but are hoping to find a world they can truly be a part of for a long time.
If you miss the days of logging in and recognizing every name you see, of watching a world slowly evolve with stories, landmarks, and memories you helped build, you’ll fit in here.
We all try to stick close to spawn so we can interact with each other and just have a generally easier time playing together. No going off 10,000 blocks away to build your base haha
A little about the server:
Java Edition
Age 25+ preferred
Vanilla+ survival with a few quality-of-life tweaks (player heads, fast leaf decay, one-player sleep, minor conveniences, but nothing game-breaking)
Whitelisted, application-based
Community projects, shops, and events already underway
Hermitcraft-inspired, but with our own flavor
