Years ago I had a script that I ran on a schedule that would delete all thread replies older than 6 months, but leave the thread itself intact. I figured it out by spinning up a second xenforo instance populated with the backup of my main forum, and went through quite a bit of trial and error until I got the result I was after.
I can't remember how I structured it, and I'm hoping someone knows an easy way to do it and could hopefully save me the time and resources of having to go through...
