Welcome to the world of Onyx SMP!
A semi-vanilla server that is heavily focused on the community and takes a lot of inspiration from Hermitcraft. For example in the form of many events, community projects, minigames, player-run economy, mega-builds, random improve roleplay, and more!
Our server is for those who want to make the world feel more alive with builds and stories. And at the same time have fun with the fantastic people around. Our community is tight, welcoming, and full of personable, diverse, and interesting people!

PLUGINS
We mostly focus on quality-of-life plugins such as: - CoreProtect - Graves - Anti-creeper grief - EssentialsX (/spawn /nick...) - VanillaTweeks (armor stands, silent mobs,...) - Dynmap - DiscordSRV - HeadDatabase - Blaze&Caves Advancements - Brewery - and more!
You do not have to download anything in order to play! The server does all the work.

RULES
Nothing out of the ordinary:
be kind and respectful, this is a place where people are meant to feel safe and welcomed. basically, don't be a ****.
no stealing, griefing, cheating, or abusing exploits. With our plugins we can revert any damage and catch the culprit, meaning there's no way people can get away with it.
to be able to join the Onyx SMP you must own a Java version of Minecraft, speak English, and be over 17 years old.
no big mob and redstone farms, this is not a technical server, and we wish to retain a stable economy.
