I’m not 100 percent sure this is allowed here- but I need to know if anyone anywhere is like this. I am 41 years old and started playing Minecraft back in May. I am a behavior technician and para and work with teens with special needs. I started playing in an attempt to bond with one of my kids. (It worked
. Problem is… everyday it seems I am learning something new and fun to do in the game. And I mean EVERY DAY. If I’m not looking for cool builds to mimic in my survival world, I am spending hours upon hours defeating whither skeletons to get wither skulls to beat the whither to make a beacon. I have built huge castles, cities and every thing I can think of in my world. I’ve beaten the ender dragon and flown with elytra and just had so much fun doing all of it. I have 3 worlds. One for fun, one from when I first started playing and one I take very seriously but it’s hardcore so I am very scared all the time haha.
I think about playing it when I’m not playing, I talk to my students about it often, I look up ideas for builds, I even bought a realm so my boyfriend can play with me. (He doesn’t play with me super often but sometimes). I don’t and never had really liked going out or anything, I used to play a lot of sims, but Minecraft is just- it’s awesome. Is it normal? Will some of this fade? Will I get bored of it eventually? Because right now, it’s all I want to do. Please tell me I’m not alone haha.
