 | ive never been too into Minecraft (i think i started too old and singleplayer left me sad abt not having friends  ) but decided i would learn how to build by trying to create the setting (The University) of my favorite book/series The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.The star shaped building called the Mews contains the student dorms, and the second building is the Mess hall! It’ll be a very loose interpretation since I haven’t reread the books in a couple years. As someone who never bothered to do much more than a basic dirt hut as a base, I’m super satisfied with how my first build is going so far !!! very excited to keep tweaking things/adding stuff and getting better  I’m using Complementary Shaders with the Alacrity texture pack and all the tiny extra details are from Mizuno’s 16 CIT pack which were truly a game changer aesthetically. submitted by /u/ChipSwanson [link] [comments] |
