 | I am using Modern Beta to play on a world with the world gen of Alpha. So I decided to build my home with only blocks that were available in Alpha. The choices are very limited. I'm already limited on blocks because, since it pretty much generates an Alpha world (albeit one that reaches down to -64, and can generate new ores like Copper). I only have access to Oak Wood without a Wandering Trader. No Granite, Andesite, or Diorite Spawn. Of course I did have to make an exception for a bed (and I will have to for other things like an Enchantment Table, Smithing Table, Anvil, etc).
