| This is my solution to villager trading. I have setup 13 villages each exactly 1 chunk in size with a 4 block wide wrap-around balcony extending around the 16x16x5 obsidian enclosure I created. Each cell is its own village chunk aligned and separated by exactly 160 blocks in both directions. Each village has 20 villagers all of the same type. Each village has a different type of villager inside allowing for bulk trading with any of the 13 types of villager. Every village doubles as an iron farm with the golems being forced to spawn on top of the obsidian. (I have not yet completed this aspect and don't know if I will bother but it would be relatively easy to do so will some simple water streams and a lava blade.) I chose obsidian because it's blast proof and because I manually mined the end pillars totaling just over 43,000 obsidian and it needed a use. Side note whilst only briefly shown the giant crater behind the villages is a 150x250 perimeter I have dug from y lvl 100ish down to y level 40 by hand; eventually it'll be to bedrock. (There was a mountain where the crater is now lmao.) submitted by /u/Honest22475 [link] [comments] |
