Idk the feeling but I never get as spooked up as when I'm playing peaceful mode. The mines, sounds and everything hits different. It's so alone that it never feels never alone.
In the mines there should be creepers and skeletons but there is nothing, so you expect something to come attack you but there's nothing anywhere and I feel like it builds so much tension.
I always feel like something is watching me
