So let me begin with saying that i have had this issue constantly with the Minecraft lanucher for two years now. an update for the game came out today and while my Xbox will update the game just fine. the launcher on my computer refuses to. these are all the methods i have tried thus far.
I'm stuck on Version v1.21.114
can't update to Version v1.21.120
this is the 12th time this has happen this year and every single time i go through all the options. the game never displays the update as an option and i have to wait until the next Minecraft update to see if the launcher or any of the options allow me to update. does anyone have any way they can help or at least has had the same problem?

I'm stuck on Version v1.21.114

I tired checking for updates and it found none.
i tried updating on Xbox app, no update found.
i tried on the Microsoft store. no update found.
i tried reinstalling the launcher. no update. game is on the same version.
i tried reinstalling the game. still stuck on the same version.
i restarted both my Pc, Router, Xbox and pretty much everything else i have for good measure.
i tried contacting Mojang Support. their AI tool didn't help at all and just referred me to steps i have already tried.
tried reaching Microsoft support and got nothing.
