I'd think you'd find better answers to this on the SpigotMC site or similar marketplaces.

Cool idea man. Since you're open to anything — one thing I always felt missing was a proper server-side progression system that works across all gamemodes.
Not just skills, but something modular: perks, level rewards, global challenges, seasonal tasks, etc. A lot of servers hack this together with 5 different plugins, but having one clean system would help tons of people.

If you build something flexible enough, I'm pretty sure the community will use it a lot.

Definitely an understatement. An AIO solution would be great.

Your idea is very interesting. What are the names of those five plugins you mention? I want to get inspired and make something all-in-one, taking advantage of the fact that I'm also building my own network.
When I think about it, something similar to the system Hypixel has comes to mind, perhaps?

Thanks for the pointers — that actually helps a lot.
I’ve been digging through some existing setups, and it’s pretty much like you said: most servers are duct-taping together multiple plugins to get something resembling a global progression system. It works, but it’s definitely messy.
Before I start structuring my own system, I’m trying to understand what the community actually lacks the most.
From your experience, what usually becomes the biggest bottleneck?
  • data sync across gamemodes?
  • performance issues when the system gets too modular?
  • players abusing certain perks/challenges?
  • or just the general “maintenance hell” of having too many separate plugins?
If I can pinpoint the biggest pain points, I can design the architecture around solving those first. Since I’m building this for my own network as well, I’d prefer to get it right from the ground up rather than just making another all-in-one that becomes bloated.
Curious to hear your take on this.
