I’ve been building a functional city for the past four years

Cranked up the render distance a bit today to take a few screenshots of Polaris, a massive functional city that has been designed and constructed for four real life years, 13 in-game years, and has a detailed lore that guides and records its development over the years. I left a very advanced survival city to be able to take the same primitive concept (a simple village developing into a city with satellite settlements connected by rail) to a much grander scale, which is why Polaris is being built to be functional on an individual scale, so all the buildings are made with foundations and realistic layouts and include utilities like connection to the city redstone power grid for lighting, with a vast and rational sewage network serving individual water closets in buildings to dispose unwanted blocks. Public utilities like streetlights and the underground street system connecting all of the north side have their own separate redstone power grids and everything is controlled from an underground switchboard room, with the grids growing organically as new blocks are developed and lampposts replaced.
