Elytra already destroys every travel method , but lets say you didn’t use elytra , the first thing you do is tame a horse , if you are lucky you get a fast one that speeds things up , but for terrain , it just doesn’t do the trick .
And that brings me to my point , imagine if we could enchant horse armor (in survival) specificly frostwalker , imagine riding a fast horse through the sea with the additional speed of ice , putting protection on the armor so your horse can survive, thorns for the mobs to get shredded , feather falling, soul speed and so on
With these enchantments using a horse would be , fun and versitile, you have a horse for nether with fire prot and soul speed (I know the terrain woud probably not allow that but its fun to think
,frost walker and prot for your everyday horse and so on
Also it may be a nit overpowered , but bring back potion breeding , that way it can have a but of a chance against flying
I know I probably got somethings wrong in this , I am just typing this with spite from disappointment of my horse .
