Issue with editor when editing posts.

So I noticed on both the default and custom style that when I attempt to edit a post I can't use the editor buttons. I'm using safari on my ipad. It works fine from my iphone with safari browser. I'm not having this problem on my other forum which still runs on 2.2. Any ideas? Thanks
