I don't know how exactly to make this sound right, but im losing track of minecraft updates lately - it was all nice and clean from 1.10-1.15, and then it kind of went "we got a nether revamp" "look at these beautiful caves" "when will archeology be added bruh" etc. and im lost. i don't see the updates clearly anymore, it's so mushed together, i first heard of archeology coming in like 1.17 or 1.18, and im still hearing about it being fully implemented later, etc etc.
i completely gave up on up to date minecraft and currently im mainly playing 1.12.2 with mods, and a bit of 1.16.5. can someone like, explain the absolute mush that was the past 2-3 years?
