I’ll never get over the absolute JUMP in these things’ damage in Bedrock! I like hard difficulty, and everything else feels relatively balanced, tridents hit just as hard but they’re usually alone, visible, and easy to combat. Then there’s phantoms, who spawn in packs (including unexpectedly during thunderstorms!) and absolutely chunk your health. If just two hit right, they can practically insta kill you in full iron… that’s a little ridiculous.

I’m also a hater to how they feel like punishment for being capable of surviving the night and making the most of the in game days. Overall on Java they’re just obnoxious and practically bounce off you so it’s easier to ignore them, on Bedrock, they undeservedly get to insta kill you mid game. Also, for the love of god, if you’re in an area with cats, they should just despawn after 3-5 failed swoops… there’s no reason to have to mute while building at night because instead they’ll get into a ten minute looping screeching match.
