Okay I thought that the spear was a goofy *** gimmick weapon what I would never use since I never use weapons for anything but killing mobs in farms.
I was playing around with one just cause and got it fully enchanted, not yet netherite upgraded but it doesn't appear to need it.
I was idling next to my zombie farm and had the spear on me and though "why don't I see how goes compared to the sword"
If you've ever played bedrock you know we don't have that sweeping edge thing that kills multiple zombies at once so I've been having to smack zombies one at a time in my farm, it's tedious.
I had idled for about four hours while I went and cooked and ate dinner and cleaned up and then I came back to see my screen lagging, a good sign that I was in for a nice chunk of XP.
I hit the clump of zombies with my spear and they all died at once. I thought my game crashed. It sat there, doing the complex calculations of the pure zombie genocide I had just unleashed.
I went from level 10 to level 38 in one attack. I am never going back to the sword.
