I made this wooden model of a diamond sword based on the model in the movie.

I “crafted” this ~meter long sword from plywood, spray paint, and many hours of power sanding. Most of the parts were eyeballed, and each one was cut out with a belt sander (over 50 pieces!) Several coats of different specialty paints give it a sparkly diamond-like shimmer in real life. I made the handle look like ‘natural’ wood with a textured paint layer.
