I realized the other day that I've never once tried or felt interested in making infinite/optimized farms of anything when I play Minecraft. When I need materials, I find them, and when I run out, I find more. At most I will keep a simple farm that produces enough food for me to keep me fed and maybe enough to some decorations. This is apparently shocking to my other friends who insist on getting an iron golem, tree, crops, and Enderman farms. I can't explain it but it's always felt like doing so much work to not go play the game and see the world you dropped into.
I say all this to ultimately admit that. Seeing people enjoy the same game in two completely different approaches fills me so much joy and appreciation for this game that I cannot express fully in words. We each can all go into this game and walk away with a unique experience to us whether with friends or in singleplayer, That's more beautiful to me than any shader pack or mountain range in any world.
I love Minecraft.
Thank you.
