 | This a type of locomotive built in 1936 for the Union Pacific Railroad to pull heavy freight trains between Wyoming and Utah. Named as 'Challengers' they were the backbone of the railroad before the famous 'Big Boys' were delivered for the first time. I spent a lot of time building & studying the history and technical details of this machine, and I'm really happy with the result.
