How to display the Top Threads in this subforum?

I have hundreds of forums on my big board. Each with a mass of threads. So our most valuable threads get buried and users do not see them. I'd like to expose the Top Threads in a forum in a sidebar widget. i.e. Threads with highest number of view count, reaction score, etc. No matter how old.
I can add a Trending content widget, but that only takes the last 30 days into account.

Is there a way to do this in core XF or does this require customization?
