Villagers and Iron Golems barely have any interactions between one another besides staring at each other and Golems giving poppies to baby villagers. I think it's a great idea that villagers should have the ability to heal Iron Golems.
Certain villager types like Blacksmiths, Armorers, and Weaponsmiths should heal golems. This makes sense because of their trades requiring iron ingots. Additionally, Clerics can even throw beneficial potions (like potion of regeneration, healing, and strength) to Iron Golems during raids, acting as supports.
It's also worth mentioning that although that there is a mod that adds these features, it should still be added in the game for vanilla and bedrock players.
