Forever World : Create or Vanilla ?

I want to start a forever world, but i really like playing modded minecraft with create mod. Should i play vanilla minecraft with latest updates (and maybe some vanilla+ mods) Or just stuck on a version, say 1.21.1, and play on it with create mod.
