Hi all, I actually don't have anyone else to talk to this about in my life which is terribly sad, so I've resorted to Reddit.
I just fired up Minecraft after 8 years (having first played in the Alpha!), and I spawned into a stunning Spruce biome directly next to a village! It was an unreal start, and I am now rebuilding all their houses to provide a much better experience for all the weird villagers.
I was looking out over the ocean once I secured my first base and the music kicked in, and it made me feel emotional. It took me back to a time where I had considerably less stresses in my life. Sometimes life can really get at you, but this was a moment where I took some time to let myself feel those emotions and really feel good.
What a wonderful game this is. I may be 35 years old, but I am thoroughly enjoying punching trees, planting seeds and saying hello to the bees after all these years!
