 | Realistic Electricity Pylon build in my creative world, have always searched for these online but the majority online are not realistic, pieces are just floating around, doesn't have the correct shape or looks absolutely amazing but has only achieved that level of detail because it's 200 blocks tall (this one is a much more realistic 50m tall). This design is based off of the 230kv Double Circuit Steel Lattice Towers prevalent in the UK (particularly in the countryside and near power stations) and is 49 metres tall. Usually a Double Circuit would have 3 tangents (arms) but to avoid loss of detail, I stuck with two with two phase instead of three. I find it much easier to build realistic things in Minecraft and following real life photographs rather than things from my imagination. It also is useful to read building guidelines for certain structures and architect reccomendations to achieve realistic builds. Also I am influenced by my surroundings too which living in the UK yields rather industrial builds.
