The cycle repeats. Floating water mob with a vague promo video, and people get hyped for the possibilities.
Please please please, let's learn from past mistakes as a community. I'm already seeing people say they want to vote for the penguin because, together with ice highways and boats, they could make insanely fast travel systems.
For the love of god, learn from past mistakes. Assuming things is only going to lead to disappointment. We should only be using information that we know for sure in order to judge who we're going to vote for. The trailer said "penguins are elegant swimmers. They can help your boat travel faster". They are swimmers and clumsy on land, this obviously means in their power works in water. Don't assume this is going to work in land or ice, and MUCH LESS base your vote on that assumption, because it's most likely wrong. Just like with dolphins, their power is most likely going to work just in water.
If you're gonna vote for the penguin, make sure it's for another reason that is not based on an assumption (that goes for all other mobs too), because if it ends up winning and you were wrong, not only are you going to be disappointed, but the entire community will miss out on very wanted features, forever.
