| | I have a problem when building houses in Minecraft. (These houses are NOT mine) I cannot make a small house. I am on my big farm base yet again destroying another house for the third time because i didn't liked how my house was looking. (it still looked like a big block of birch wood planks despite i played a little with the shapes to make it less square). My train of thought is "Okay. I'll start with a small living room, then a staircase by the wall that goes L shape and goes to the second floor." But then i go "this is just a big vertical rectangle. I should give it a small chimney room in the right side" then i accidentally make a big chimney room. AND THE WORST PART IS THAT I LOOK AT THE LIVING ROOM AGAIN IN THE LEFT SIDE AND THINK "HMM YOU KNOW WHAT'D BE NICE!? A HALLWAY TO A STORAGE." And everything becomes so expensive and it doesn't look good! I think my problem is that I'm mixing architecture with location. In my latest house i used as inspiration the Baker's house from Resident Evil 7, but i should've sticked to Medieval architecture since it is what i am supposed to aim at. Does anyone has this problem or i just love complicating my life? submitted by /u/AveFeniix01 [link] [comments] |
