Do Minecraft players still go in blind on a regular basis or are there more players using tools like ChunkBase than not?

I am trying to resist the temptation to just use ChunkBase for my latest world as much as possible so that it does not cheapen the exploration experience, but seeking out things like Nether fortresses and dripstone caves is still a pain. I just wish piglins would at least trade us maps that lead to Nether fortresses
