 | A while back I saw a post here about someone merging their worlds and it inspired me to finally do the same. I paid $10 for Amulet and used it to combined three of my worlds into one big mega world. Not everything lined up perfectly with my main “prime” world, but I really wanted those specific areas in the spots I choose so I’ve been spending time smoothing out the transitions. I found that if you reset the chunks along the border where the worlds join, the world generator does a surprisingly good job blending the new terrain into the existing one. It’s not perfect every time, but it’s a solid starting point and saves a ton of manual terraforming. One spot left me with a ridiculous giant wall of water, so I just built a dam. Now it actually looks intentional. I still have some work do to, and I play Survival so it takes some doing, but you could do most of the smoothing in creative and then reset it if you wanted as well. submitted by /u/SourRippleXRP [link] [comments] |
