Hey everyone,

I'm currently developing a new Minecraft server concept heavily inspired by a very popular Roblox game called "Clean the Backyard" (created by Pat4to Studio). I haven't really seen this specific gameplay style replicated within Minecraft yet, and I think it would make for a fantastic, relaxing, but deeply engaging server experience.

My goal is to create a true idle-clicker / infinite progression server centered entirely around a short, satisfying gameplay loop.

The Vision

Imagine walking into a massive, cartoon-style backyard absolutely overwhelmed by thousands of cardboard boxes. Your mission? Clean it up.

The Core Gameplay Loop

The mechanics will be simple, intuitive, and highly addictive:

  1. Collect: You start with basic equipment (like a simple bag) and destroy the cardboard boxes (trash) scattered across the yard. Every piece you collect fills your specialized "Trash Bag."
  2. Sell: When your bag is full (or you choose to), you head to the dedicated "VENDRE" (Sell) zone. This zone features custom 3D models (like an industrial compactor) and instantly converts your collected trash into cold, hard cash.
  3. Upgrade: This is the heart of the idle progression. Take your cash to the "Garage" (AMÉLIORER / Upgrade) station. You will spend your earnings to unlock permanent upgrades, such as:
    • Bag Capacity: Store more boxes per trip.
    • Tool Efficiency: Break boxes much faster.
    • Energy Mechanics: Manage and improve your character’s max energy and passive regeneration.
The loop repeats, but every cycle allows you to clean larger areas faster and make even more money.

Feature Highlights

Here are some of the key mechanics planned, inspired directly by the source material:

  • Custom HUD: No cluttering your real inventory. A dedicated HUD (using ActionBars/BossBars) will show your real-time stats, including ⚡ Energy levels and 🎒 Bag Capacity.
  • Energy Management: Actions like sprint-jumping and collecting trash consume energy. Running out applies a heavy slowness effect, forcing you to use passive regeneration or purchase consumables (Soda/Chocolate Bars) from the in-game Vending Machines found in the yard.
  • Dynamic Random Events: To keep the grinding dynamic, several events are planned:
    • 🟡 Golden Drone: A rare drone spawns and flies through the yard. Catching it gives a massive cash bonus.
    • 👾 UFO Attack: A rare, major event where trash spawns at accelerated speeds and the entire community can work together to achieve a score target for a collective selling multiplier.

Visual Style & Technical Ambition

I want the server to have a distinct, polished look. We will rely heavily on Custom Resource Packs (and potentially plugins like ItemsAdder or ModelEngine) to achieve a:

  • Low-Poly / Cartoonish Art Style: Bright colors, readable environments, and smooth performance (as seen in the screenshots below).
  • Optimization First: The biggest technical challenge is managing thousands of individual boxes. My plan is to use native Minecraft blocks (like custom NoteBlock states) rather than entity-heavy ArmorStands, optimized chunk management, and batch-updates to ensure smooth performance even for dozens of players simultaneously.
We are building this on Paper/Spigot 1.20+, targeting maximum performance and stability.

Looking for Community Feedback!

I am currently in the very early stages of development (MVP Prototype phase - Step 1 on the roadmap) and I’d love to know what the community thinks of this concept.

  • Does this kind of progression loop sound fun within Minecraft?
  • What unique mechanics or events would you want to see in a backyard cleaning adventure?
If this project sounds like something you’d be interested in (either as a player or if you have experience with 3D modeling/plugin dev and want to help!), please let me know.

Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
