Anyone else start a new Minecraft world planning a real base, then live in a dirt house for 10 days?

Every single time I say :-

This world is gonna be organized. Storage room, farms, aesthetic builds.

Then night one hits.

I punch a tree.

Dig straight down.

And suddenly I’m calling a 3×3 dirt box temporary housing for half the game

Please tell me I’m not the only one.

What’s the longest you’ve lived in a temporary base before actually building something real?
