After playing minecraft for 2 years on Xbox we have realized its crap compared to PC...so, JAVA OR BEDROCK?

Hi all,

This is for my kiddo actually.

They have played Minecraft on Xbox but we realized that PC Minecraft has more items and cool things to do.

Should I buy Java or Bedrock?

Is it easy to join custom servers or does it require some basic programming knowledge?
