After hours of grinding, and over a decade of waiting. I finally managed to build and activate the nether reactor.

After witnessing the reactor in creative only, I finally bit the bullet and strip mined for hours to craft everything required. Whilst slightly underwhelming, I can finally rest happy knowing I finally witnessed a historical moment in MCPE history. Done on an IPad 1st gen, on v0.5.0 alpha
