As we say farewell to 2023, we also say farewell to Please Don't Play This Server. Unfortunately, many people did in fact Play This Server over the previous months and we must acknowledge that we have a highly active and dedicated player base. Despite our best efforts, players build amazing things together that will be around for years to come. When we began Please Don't Play This Server, we knew it would be difficult to keep people from joining and having a wonderful time in a true vanilla anarchy experience. Despite this, we set out with one singular goal in mind; a completely empty server that no one plays. In recognizing that we have fallen short of this goal, going forward we will be rebranding as A ZOMBIE PIGMAN BROKE MY DOOR. Absolutely nothing has changed or will change besides the name, and the fact that we no longer want people to not Play This Server. So please, we ask you to join us as we navigate these new and exciting times together as A ZOMBIE PIGMAN BROKE MY DOOR! Server has been live with no map resets since late 2019.
