Hi everyone,
This update is a small hotfix after 1.219.0. It adds death protection items on newer Paper, stops custom noteblock stacks from flickering, and keeps furniture names when you pick them back up.
Features:
It adds a death protection item component on Paper 1.21.2+, and an optional local readable pack export that stays off unless you turn it on.
Fixes:
Custom noteblock stacks no longer flicker when you mine or place blocks next to them. Furniture keeps its name after pickup, written books open again, auto-crafters respect vanilla-recipe restrictions, and totems keep their default save-on-death if you did not configure a custom death protection.
Big thanks to Jan for the hotfix work. If you hit any issue, please let me know.
Enjoy,
Thomas
Hi everyone,
This update brings custom workstation recipes, backpack item blocking, Silk Touch loot filters, and a large Folia and command cleanup. The inventory menu icons and the first-run intro also look correct again on current chat.
Features:
- Smithing tables, cauldrons, anvils, and grindstones can use Oraxen recipes
- Recipe book grouping
- Backpack denylist for configured items and colored shulker boxes
- Silk Touch required, forbidden, or unchanged on custom block drops
Fixes:
- Inventory previous, next, and exit icons no longer show as paper
- First-run intro no longer wraps into strikethrough lines
- Furniture seats, custom blocks, anvils, glyphs, and Folia thread access
TextEffects, shader custom armor, PackSlicer, and WorldEdit block integration are gone. Inventory settings now live under inventory-menu and migrate automatically.
Big thanks to Jan and Olivier for the work in this update. If you hit any issue, please let me know.
Enjoy,
Thomas
Hey,
My apologies, I actually uploaded the same debug build in the last update instead of the clean one. Here is, the triple checked production build with all the assets.
Best,
Thomas
Hey,
Here is a quick fix for the jar file so it includes the missing resources.
Best,
Thomas
Hi everyone,
This update brings Minecraft 26.2 support and restores compatibility with legacy 1.20.1 servers. It also adds custom paintings loaded from config with hot reload, a unified `/oraxen info` command, configurable block break durability, configurable client-version filtering for resource pack dispatch, and broader protection plugin compatibility through AntiGriefLib (covering 25+ plugins including GriefDefender, GriefPrevention, and UltimateClaims). Many reliability fixes land across commands, packs, recipes, backpacks, and block interactions. Spigot server support has been removed, so Paper or a Paper-compatible fork is now required.
Big thanks to Jan (pxlarified) for the original v1.217.0 work and the pack and painting compatibility fixes.
If you hit any issue, please let me know.
Enjoy,
Thomas
Hey,
Last update introduced a breaking change in the way blocks are handled in Oraxen (a single block mechanic in mechanics.yml). Unfortunately there was a bug in the config migration which could cause blocks to not render properly using older configurations.
This update fixes it, thanks to Jan for his reactivity![]()
Have fun.
Thomas
