 | I challenged myself to build something aesthetic using one of my least favorite blocks in the game, diorite. The naturally generated patches look truly awful, but pairing it with calcite, stone, cobblestone, and tuff variants yields a much better result. While I was at it, I added a waterfall sourced by an underground spring beneath a custom spruce forest, my best crack at a cyprus tree along the river bank, a handful of boulders lining the top of the valley, and a massive oak tree meant to pique the curiosity of any visitors to reveal the nature trail. The whole area is lit using hidden lighting (shout out to slabs and stairs for not totally blocking light sources!) and can be walked at night in relative safety.
