Griefing is allowed. Dupes are allowed. Alliances and betrayals are part of the game.
The only disabled cheat is flight. Movement should matter. Escapes should take skill. Travel should be dangerous.
Everything else is fair game.
The world is permanent. The history is real. What you build or destroy stays.
