Trotuserver is a Semi-Vanilla Survival Geopolitical (Civs) Roleplay Server. It's not too big so it doesn't feel crowded, but it's big enough to be very dynamic and have a strong community. We take roleplay and politics fairly seriously, and have fun doing it! The server has been run by the admins for over 4 years - starting off as a small server of classmates to an international server with a lot of history. We are primarily an english speaking server, although we accept all people who speak different languages. The roots of the server used to be Argentine so a lot of old books or documents are written in Spanish.
The server is International so we have people from the USA, Argentina, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, UK and many more.
The Basics: There are civilisations of all different kinds, with different cultures, religions, government structures, and as such they have conflicts, but most importantly politics!
A lot of stuff has happened recently, is happening currently, and happened ages ago. Countries collapsing, An old country rising again in power, death... and of course the repeating of history - good and bad. In general, we find ourselves to be a pretty fun and chill community - in and out of roleplay!
Warning: We are not looking for people who just PVP and don't roleplay or interact politically. PVP and wars are the icing to the cake, not the cake itself.

We also like to goof around and just hang out on our Discord server and talk. The server is always active in the discord and generally discussing a wide range of topics both in rp and out of character.
We also have a subreddit at r/Trotuserver_Official!
Its recommended to join a pre-existing nation to get established in the server before going off to make your own legacy!
Many nations have fallen, and risen from the ashes. Some examples of fallen nations/Organisations would be Berun, Cinder, and Rugwane.
Technical side: Generally we stray from having a large amount of plugins, so everything added is QOL (Quality of life) or enhances RP to an extreme level (Such as the map painting plugin).
There is generation from all the way back in 1.13 as the server is over 4 years old.
These plugins are being used:
- Treecapitator (UltimateTimber) - When you cut a log, the entire tree above it is destroyed and resources dropped.
- CoreProtect (Available under the command /co i and /co near) - If you /co i a block you can see who has interacted with it.
- CombatLogX - When attacked by a player or attacking a player, you can not log out until 10 seconds of no violence after (there is a visible timer above the hotbar).
- Gsit - /sit makes you sit on any block, the same with /lay, right clicking with an empty hand also works on stairs, slabs and carpets to sit on them.
- Armour Statues from Vanilla Tweaks - If you sign a book “Statues” you get accessibility to edit armour stands and item frames, this is mainly for builders.
- Single Player Sleep - If one person sleeps, it skips night, everyone doesn’t have to sleep.
- CustomSkinManager (/skin) - You can customise your skin like updating it and changing it to be another player’s.
- PlayerHeads - When a player is killed, their head is dropped. To prevent head farming, a timer is placed in between for their head to be able to be dropped again.
- PlasmoVoice (Proximity Voice Chat) - You can talk in-game when players are near using your voice, but you need to also get the mod for this to work.
- AuthMe (/login) - Upon joining the server, you have to /login and write your password which you make when first joining the server. If you forgot it, don’t worry, an admin can get it back eventually.
- EaselPaiting - You can create your own map art from an easel and put it anywhere, without having to actually build to make a map look that way!
We also have Geyser that allows Bedrock players to play on the server!
If you're on java but don't want to play on 1.19.2, you can load into the server on any 1.19.2+ version.
Basic Rules: The basic server rules are simple and standard, but we take them very seriously:
Discord Rules:
- Follow discord's community guidelines
- No threats or content encouraging or directly depicting suicide or self-harm
- Harassment towards others isn't welcomed here
- If a mod asks you to stop doing something or to change channels, respect that
- Do not use rp channels/threads for out of character messages
- No gore or nudity.
(In our official discord, there are more rules relating to specific channels that are not listed here)
There are also rules of the war that are longer and more complicated so here’s a link:
WAR RULES!
Application: In order to apply for the server, you need to have an interview with one of its members. If you are interested and want to join the server - message one of us! (Discord: shroomzi, rocket5897, thecaspeer) And you will either be directed to someone to interview you or be interviewed by one of us! You’ll be added to a waiting room on the discord whilst the admins review your interview, and then either accepted or denied!
