TL;DR
If you're after a high quality, vanilla Minecraft server with an active community, then consider Thugcraft.
(We are not really thugs)
Who are we?
We’re a group of friends from all over the world, primarily Europe, North America & Australia. We run Thugcraft together as a group, with a flat management structure.
Why did we start Thugcraft?
We wanted a vanilla Minecraft server to play on, without any restrictions, over complicated rules, or abusive mods. The server just turned 6 years old in February 2023 and we’re on our eighth season as of June 2023.
Who are we looking for?
Anyone over 18 is welcome and encouraged to apply. Our goal is to keep average player count at 10 and peak player activity under 20.
Community
Thugcraft is all about community. We encourage cooperation and commerce, Our spawn usually is host to a larger shopping district where players are open to build what suits their style
We have a Discord server where the game chat is linked to Discord. We also use voice chat regularly, so having a microphone is a plus!
We hold regular community events, including build events and PvP competitions on the server, and events where we play other games, usually Among Us or Jackbox.

Rules!

- No griefing, stealing, or cheating
- Chat is also English only
Technical Stuff
- Server has an i9-9900K with 64GB RAM
- Great worldwide latency, we have players from all over the world
- We run Spigot with settings that make it exactly like vanilla
- The world seed is unknown to all
- All settings are default except spawn protection is disabled and one player sleep is enabled
- We have a few datapacks:
- Dragon drops elytra + egg on every kill
- Double shulker shell drops
- Anti enderman grief
- Player stats
- Silence mobs
- AFK player display
- Disabled fire spawning from lightning
- More mob heads and player heads
- End Gateways are regularly altered to teleport players further out
- Admins have the ability to see who did that and when
- Admins can roll back changes on the fly in case of griefing
- Frequent backups, including regular off site backups
