 | I have no real way to explain what I made, I was sad while making it. There's nothing in this city, just barren emptiness that disappoints. I had really nowhere else to put this, each time I attached a sob story that took away from the build itself. Inspired by the Kowloon walled city in China, torn down due to fire hazards and left as a memory. People go in looking for adventure, but find themselves disappointed when nothing is there for them. I stare into the woods, hoping- begging I'd see something in the bushes, an adventure to some place new. But the corners of the map have been filled, secrets uncovered, and the wonder of the internet and forgotten places watered down and monetized. That's what I wanted to capture here, loneliness and disappointment. That's all that awaits you here, that's all that await me.
