| it's been a rough year, I've had alot of personal things happen in my life recently. getting by has been tough, moneys been short and lost alot of things that meant alot to me. to say I've been struggling isn't the right word, I don't wanna sit here and just moan but yk what I mean. I'm from a city in the uk called redditch, it's not a big one and it's densely populated. it isn't a pretty place to live but it is what it is. this Friday the day of release, I went down to watch it with 2 of my friends not expecting alot. we didn't see alot of people there as we were one of the first, but after the shopping area the cinema is located in was full to the brim. it was at a time normally nobody's there but it was so lively. redditch isn't a exciting place to be but this really brought everyone together, the next day it was full all day no matter the time. my small city which I thought was a shit hole, had all come together and bonded over the minecraft movie. i am extremely grateful for everything this movie provided for my city. thank you submitted by /u/coolvileowner [link] [comments] |
