Silk Touch Shovel

I was in The Nether and my portal got extinguished. I didn't have a flint & steel so I had to make one. I started mining gravel for the flint and I couldn't find any. I mined stacks of gravel before I realized that I was using a Silk Touch Shovel once I started mining with my bare hand I found flint almost instantly
