SerenityMP is orientated around building a community. We want to create a friendly fun experience where everyone can get together and play Minecraft, or just chat in Discord. What about the SMP Server?
SerenitySMP is currently running on 1.20 and just started on July 3rd 2023. We have an SMP server before that lasted 2 years back during covid. We decided to take a slightly different approach this time and make it more community orientated while still having fun playing Minecraft together. We hope to bring more game servers in the future for all of our community to play on. But lets talk about Minecraft. We are a mostly vanilla Minecraft Server with several staff members to ensure the server runs smoothly. We have a well running and developed server with a few plugins to enhance the server. We have coreprotect, train carts, openaudiomc, timber, and a few more things to bring you the ultimate SMP experience. To keep it feeling vanilla we do NOT have plot claiming plugins or anything like that. Simply mark your land and get to building! If someone griefs your land make sure to let staff know and we will deal with it accordingly!
Is there a Shopping District?
Yes! SerenitySMP will always have a Shopping District for all players to use. Our SD runs mostly off of Diamonds but Netherite is also an acceptable currency. You do not have to apply for a shop but it does cost 1 diamond per 10x10 area of land to create a Shop. Stealing is not permitted and if you steal you will be unwhitelisted.
How does whitelisting work?
Once you join the Discord Server you will be sent to an introduction channel, the introduction channel will give you the brief run down and then you can find the apply button in said channel. At the end of every season *ALL* whitelists are removed BUT you will be granted a previously whitelisted role. It is as simple as requesting to be re-whitelisted for the new season to get your whitelist back. We do this to try and manage activity and ensure people aren't just sitting in the Discord with the server muted.
Is there PVP on Serenity?
No, but also yes! PVP isn't tolerated UNLESS you have consent from that player. You may not just go around killing people for their inventories. Both parties must consent to the PVP.
Is there a BlueMap or Dynmap?
Yes you may find it at https://map.serenitymp.com
